PayTheBursar publishes school payment facts. The site does not ask you to create an account. It collects personal information only if you type it into a form.

Newsletter

The signup form sends your email address to an API route. Where it goes next depends on the server's SUBMISSION_SINK setting. The default, noop, writes the address to the server log and does not add you to an email product. A webhook setting forwards the same JSON to a URL you configure. We do not sell the address.

Corrections

A correction includes the school, your note, an optional source URL, and an optional email. It is stored the same way as a newsletter signup. We use it to check a fee, not to build a marketing profile.

Cookies and affiliate sites

The pages themselves do not set advertising cookies. A sponsored link leaves PayTheBursar. The other site has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. Placeholder links may not include an affiliate code yet.

School data

Enrollment and cost figures are public College Scorecard and CFPB data about institutions, not about you.
